Hellobee Gold members have access to a growing number of premium features.

GOLD ONLY THREADS

Gold bees can post Gold Only threads to the boards .

These threads can only be read by other Gold bees.  Classic members see only the title of the thread, but not who created the thread or who last commented on the thread:

If a Classic member (or non signed-in member) clicks on the link to the thread, they won’t be able to read the thread.  This helps keep Gold Only threads private from Google searches and lurkers.

PRIVATE WALL POSTS

Gold bees can leave private posts on someone’s wall, by clicking a checkbox like this:

Other members (besides the sender and recipient of the private wall post) won’t be able to view the post at all. The post will show up with gold striping, so that the recipient knows that it’s private and for their eyes only.

Please note that all members (gold and classic alike) can receive and read private posts on their wall. However, only gold bees can send private posts.

PROFILE PRIVACY FOR YOUR LIST OF POSTS

It’s a sinking feeling when someone finds your profile, and you have no recourse as they spend an afternoon reading through all of your old posts.

So we thought we’d add an option to Protect the list of Posts in your Profile as part of Gold:

Then if someone visits the list of posts on your profile and doesn’t have access, they’ll see this message instead:

HIDING SPECIFIC BOARDS

Gold bees can uncheck any boards you’d like to hide from your boards front page, and then threads from that board won’t appear for you.

This is especially helpful for hiding month twin boards that you’re not a member of… or if you’d prefer to focus on just one category on the boards, like TTC, pregnancy or parenting.

CLASSIFIEDS

With our new Gold Classifieds program, you can buy and sell items:

Here’s how it works:

1) Gold members will be able to post listings to the Classifieds! You’ll be able to post items For Sale, items you’re Looking for, Free Offers and Upcoming Events.

2) Anyone (both Gold and non-Gold members) can browse or comment on those listings, and make offers to buy and sell the listed items.

3) Once your item has been sold, you can close out the listing.
