Hellobee

A lot of our friends and family have kids who are just getting out of the baby/toddler phase, so we look forward to getting a lot of hand-me-down baby clothes. We also still have a lot of our baby items like the swing, bottles, pack-n-play and bassinet. But, if I had to create a registry for this little one these are the items I would choose this time around, knowing what I already know from my first two.

Large blankets: I love the size and feel of the Aden & Anais and Little Unicorn blankets. They are great to cleaning up spit ups and keeping baby snug during a nap. I still use them for StarCakes and GemCakes when they nap and GemCakes uses them when she plays with her stuffed animals.

Swaddles: We are definitely a swaddling home! Our first two loved being swaddled so we expect that our third will most likely follow suit on that.

Piglet Hooded Towel: StarCakes has a Pooh Bear one and GemCakes has a Tigger one. This would complete the trio.

Klean Kanteen: This is more for me than the baby. I remember being really thirsty all the time when I was breastfeeding the first two; so I think this will come in handy for the third.

Diaper bag: With our first we decided to go with a messenger-type diaper bag that proved to be difficult for me to wear since it was too bulky. I found that wearing a backpack diaper bag makes it easier for chasing little ones around while still holding an infant. I love that this Leader Bag has multiple compartments and a purse that I can take out in case I want to carry something smaller with just the essentials.

Pack-n-Play mattress: Right now our two oldest share a room so the new addition will be staying with us in our room. We already have a Pack-n-Play from our first two so in the interest of limited space we’ve decided to forgo the crib and have the 3rd one sleep in the Pack-n-Play.

Nursing bras: When I had StarCakes I went an bought the cheap kind from Target. Little did I know that breastfeeding for a year or more meant that I should actually invest in some proper nursing bras like these ones. Plus, nursing bras are great for pumping at work!

Books: I love getting books for our little ones. Some of the titles that I am looking at this time around are Feminist Baby, Counting on Community, Women in Science, and the Brave Ladies series.

Diapers: Of course we need these! We tried using cloth diapers with StarCakes, but it just wasn’t for us. So we’ll stick to disposables with this one.
