Now that Sarah has shown you how the OmieBox Bentobox works, we’re giving away 3 of them to Hellobee readers! Most of us think about eating healthier in the new year, and bento boxes really help you pack healthy, aesthetically pleasing food, which helps your kids eat better!
You have multiple chances to enter below. Good luck!

I usually pack leftovers.. trying to make them healthier!

We usually have a “snack lunch” as the kids like to call it! Much like a bento…. just a few bites of a bunch of different things! Fruit, nuts, veggies, hummus, meats, cheese, yogurt, etc…
guest
love these!

I actually don’t use a bento. We use the rubber maid containers because the ice packs snap onto them, and fit nicely into my son’s lunch pack. But I’m thinking of going the bento route for kindergarten, so he doesn’t have multiple containers to open.

We love doing Bentos – I find they make packing lunch or snack really easy. No more baggies! With K starting this year, this would be a great addition to our bento collection (of 1 bento box….)
We do a protein, 2 veggies, a fruit and sometimes yogurt in her lunch.

We’ve been using yumbox and we love it cause of the wide variety I can pack in there

We usually pack snacks more than lunches, since our daycare provides lunch. My little on starts kinder next year and I’m already worried about lunch. I’m going to guess I pack super awesome, healthy, yummy snacks every day! hehehe, one can hope, right?

DS will be starting school this August and I look forward to packing him lunches of quesadillas, strawberries, yogurt and mini sandwiches!

We typically send a combination of lunch items that need to stay heated and items that need to be refrigerated or can stay at room temperature. Therefore, we generally need to use multiple containers. The OmieBox would really streamline things!

I love using bento boxes for myself and my husband, too…and love that this one has a thermos too!

I almost always do bento-style lunches for my LO if we’re out and about that day! For some reason we never have bread so I’m not much of a sandwich packer.

I almost always use an Asian-style bento thermos to pack hot lunches, so I would love an Omiebox. I was going to buy one in September, but they were backordered!

I have used so many ideas from Hellobee for my older daughter’s lunch, and now that the 8 month needs her lunch packed I’m combing through the archives. We do a combo of fruit, vegetable, starch or whole grain, and a protein or dairy, and sometimes a Horizon whole milk box. The baby gets a fruit and a veg, then something like a quinoa or Greek yogurt muffin or sweet potato.

I’ve been sending bento-style lunches in our YumBox. I’d love to try the OmieBox.

Simple ones! Veggie (cucumbers, carrots or bell peppers); fruit; bagel with cream cheese or sandwich/crackers with sunflower seed butter. Sometimes yogurt with blueberries!

I’m not too creative- an assortment of veggies, slices of cheese and either black beans or natural lunch meat. A bento box might spur some creativity!

I pack things that are convenient to throw in a bag or backpack – like a can of soup and piece of fruit. I have wanted to try doing my lunch bento box style for a while!

I cook in bulk and freeze so we’ve always got something healthy and tasty on hand- quiche, apricot chicken, korma chicken, meatballs full of vege, or satay for when we’re at home. I give her what we eat when I can but eating at 5pm just isn’t possible so she gets leftovers the next day too.
nectarine / 2797 posts
We pack leftovers right now for daycare but anticipate that changing with kindergarten next year!
apricot / 343 posts
At home we use divided plates and tend to have a sandwich, fruit and a vegetable.
