This past week, Baby Pizza turned one! Time flew by so much faster with my second, but I’m looking forward to all the growing up she will do this year (I also enjoy this age much more). As her birthday was approaching, I started to make a wish list of things I wanted to get for Baby Pizza. Lil’ Pizza has a winter birthday so the kinds of presents she received was much different. Here are some favorite items I came across that our summer babies could enjoy outdoors!
1) Gap Lemon One Piece, 2) Gap Lemon Swim Trunks – I love these adorable swimming suit and trunks option! Swimwear for babies are too cute that it’s always okay to have more!
3) 50+ UPF Protection Sun Hat – It’s so important to provide ample sun protection for the little ones. Baby Pizza is always yanking her hats off but the chin strap on this adorable hat will definitely make it harder for her.
4) Little Tikes Basketball Set – I love a gift that can keep an active child busy. It’s also a big plus if the gift can be used for a number of years. The height of this hoop can be adjusted to make this gift appropriate for a child between 18 months to 5 years old.
5) Step2 Big Splash Waterpark Play Table – Although I would really like a simple water table for myself, I think this is more appealing to give as a gift. I like the simple, yet entertaining accessories. Having a drain is so useful too. While researching, I’ve noticed some don’t include plugs!
6) Inflatable Baby Pool – I like that this pool is small and a shade for the baby is so helpful.
7) Float with Sun Canopy – Summer calls for time in the pool and the beach. This float will keep a baby safe, cool, and happy.
8) Sprinkle and Splash Play Mat – This play mat reminded me of a splash pad for babies. Perfect for a hot day!
9) 4-in-1 trike – This trike is appropriate for ages 9 months – 5 years! Baby Pizza got this trike as a birthday gift and she absolutely loves it. Little Pizza who is 3.5 years old also asks to ride in it and enjoys it too.
11) Gas N’ Go Mower – I initially wanted this because I thought it could serve as an outdoor walker toy. It definitely was not made to be a walker toy (my baby is not yet walking) but Baby Pizza still has fun with it. I can’t wait for Baby Pizza to become a confident walker and have fun “mowing our lawn.”
10) Wagon – I have an older version so I appreciate that this one has cup holders and seatbelts.
. . . . .
Do you have a baby that was born in the summer? What are some of your favorite toys for the summer?

We just bought that exact baby pool last week and we love it so far! Easy to use and big enough but not too big. Plus, shade!

I would just get the kitchenaid hand mixer. About $40…
I have a kitchenaid stand mixer and I actually would prefer to have a hand mixer to bake with my LO. I grew up with a hand mixer and could hold it… LO can’t do much with a stand mixer. Basically, I currently choose recipes we can do by mixing with a spoon.

My son’s favorite toy right now is that lawn mower. He pretty much has to “mow” the driveway every morning before we can leave the house.

We have and love that water table – even older kids (5 yrs) who come to play enjoy it!
