Lil’ CG will be 3 in a little less than two months and though the dawn of the threenager is a wee bit scary, we’re super excited to celebrate our little lady since this is her first birthday home with us! We’re (okay, I’m, just me ) already thinking about gifts for Lil’ CG — it’s so fun to think of things she’d like now that we have known her for 6 months!
Here are some things on my wishlist for our Little Cowgirl:
1) Emily + Merritt Duvet Cover: Before Lil’ CG came home, I bought her a very similar looking comforter at a big box store for considerably less. Sadly, the comforter has lived up to its price and the gold dots on the comforter started to turn green after washing it. Lil’ CG and I both love the sparkly dots, so this duvet cover seems like a much better alternative that will last for years to come.
2) Fisher Price Early Bird Barista: (spoiler alert! I already got this for Lil’ CG’s Easter basket!) One of the first English words Lil’ CG learned was coffee. So, when I saw this ADORABLE wooden french press toy set for sale, I had to get it. She is going to love it and it will be the perfect addition to her play kitchen!
3) Sunny Patch Grub Scouts Sprinkler: Our little girl LOVES splashing in the water. Seriously, the shower is one of her favorite places! She’s going to love visiting spraygrounds in the summer, but having this sprinkler at home will be a great at-home option.
4) Magnatiles DX Set: Lil’ CG got a set of Magnatiles for Christmas and they are a huge hit at our house with all of us! This add on set with little extras would be a perfection addition to our set!
5) ERGObaby Doll Carrier: One of Lil’ CG’s other favorite toys is her baby doll and its stroller. When Lil’ CG first came home, we did a lot of toddler-wearing, so I know she’d get a kick out of a carrier for her baby!
6) Cat’s Colors or 7) Color Zoo: As previously mentioned, we are trying to maintain Lil’ CG’s Korean and raise our children to be bilingual. I’d love to add some more Korean titles to our home library and these would be perfect, since Lil’ CG is also working on learning her colors.
8) The Paper Bag Princess: This is a favorite book of mine in English and I’d love to start reading it to Lil’ CG in Korean. I love the feminist message!
9) My First Sticky Mosaic — Pets: Lil’ CG loves working on crafts and has some pretty amazing fine motor skills for a not yet 3 year-old. She would LOVE working on these mosaics and I can bet they’d keep her self-entertained for quite a bit!
10) Tops and Tights Magnetic Dress Up: I think this would be another great independent play activity for Lil’ CG and one we could take along on trips. Plus, I think one of the little girls looks like Lil’ CG!
11) Stomp Rockets: This would be such a fun toy for Lil’ CG and Lil’ CB to enjoy together — I’ve never met a kid who didn’t get a big kick out of these!
. . . . .
I’m so excited to celebrate our little girl and can’t wait to see her reaction when she receives some of these gifts! What are your favorite gifts for a 3 year-old?

Do you have #3? Before you get it, I’ll warn you – you have to have some amazing water pressure to get it to work. I read that review about it after I bought it – ha! It’s a really cool sprinkler, though! I just wish it had worked at our house. Womp. The mosaic sticker thing is great, though. We have one of those and I know a few friends do, as well.

Great gift ideas! #8 looks a little lengthier but do you know if #7 and #8:are pretty simple? I struggle to find good short Korean books (that I can read…haha). My 3 year old loves her kitchen set and the pots and pans and food that we have added on to it.
