More often than not, mornings are a mad dash to get out the door, so there’s hardly time for a full, leisurely sit-down breakfast. Their school provides breakfast so it’s not a big deal if they don’t get any at home, but we still like them to have something in their little tummies first thing in the morning. In a pinch, these are some of our go-to breakfast favorites that our kids can bring with them on the go.

6 on the go breakfast favorites

1.  Munk Pack Oatmeal Fruit Squeezes – My SIL actually introduced these to us, and immediately thought these might be perfect for the kids. The ingredient list is chock full of whole, healthy ingredients, including oats, fruit, and flax. I tried them myself and it’s not too sweet and tastes delicious, but most importantly, the kids love them. Flavors include blueberry acai flax, apple quinoa cinnamon, and raspberry coconut.

2.  Earth’s Best Yogurt Smoothie Pouches – I feel comfortable serving my kids these organic yogurt pouches that contains 25% of the recommended daily intake of calcium. They’re easy for little hands to hold and really helps tide them over in the morning or whenever they’re itching for a snack.

3.  Belvita Breakfast Biscuits – I came across these at Costco, and thought these would be perfect as an on-the-go breakfast option. They were an immediate hit with my kids. My husband couldn’t resist sneaking a bite, and exclaimed, “Mmmm these are delicious!”, so there you have it. Each pack contains four breakfast biscuits, 3 grams of fiber, and no more than 10 grams of sugar.

4.  King’s Hawaiian Rolls – They’re soft, sweet, and easy for little hands to hold. It’s hard not to love King’s Hawaiian Rolls, and I have to limit my kids from eating too many because they love them so!

5.  Minsley Organic Steel Cut Oats – This was another Costco find. Steel cut oats usually take so long to cook, and sometimes I forget to prep overnight oats… so these are great in a pinch. Just microwave for 60 seconds, add 3 tablespoons of milk, stir, and done! If your kids are anything like mine, they do not like to wait for their food. This solves that problem and gives them a hearty, heart-healthy breakfast at their fingertips.

6.  Earth’s Best Mini Pancakes – These mini pancakes are so cute, and the perfect portion for little bellies. They can each grab two to go (one for each hand) as we head out the door. Earth’s Best also has mini waffles and mini french toast sticks, but for some reason or another my kids haven’t been into those. It’s always a guessing game with toddlers, isn’t it?
