As a SAHM, it’s not often that I find myself dressed up. I hate to admit it, but sometimes putting on jeans instead of yoga pants is considered “dressing up” in my book! That being said, with the recent Jewish high holidays I found myself searching my closet for more appropriate attire for temple services.
Most of my business casual attire is still a little snug (thanks to that baby weight I’ve yet to shed), so here’s an example of what I wish I had been wearing.
for mom: dress / cardigan / wedges / necklace
for mini: dress / cardigan / flats / bows
At first I thought the peplum style would draw more attention to my post-baby belly, but I find that it actually hides it!
Have you embraced the peplum trend?

I am drawn to peplum, for both me and P, but haven’t embraced it yet. I think it may be on our Christmas list

Very cute! I love the idea of peplum, but I am afraid of it making me look more “hippy” than I am!

I’ve been afraid of the peplum for the mid section attraction too! Maybe I’ll try it though!

@T-Mom: @runsyellowlites: I had the same thoughts, but I tried on several peplum pieces, and as long as the peplum was long enough, it was really flattering. Some of the shorter peplums . . . not so much.
