Hello baby girl,

I’m happy to tell you that I’ve gotten past the 10 month mark with your monthly photos, which is something I failed at with your brother (I stopped at 9 months). I hope you will love looking back and seeing how much you’ve changed from birth to 12 months. It’s sometimes so hard to believe you were so tiny. We as parents forget.

At 10 months your hair has grown quite a bit. I can actually start putting bows in your hair, which is something that makes mommy extremely happy! You’ve grown 2 teeth, putting you at 4 total (all at the bottom), you started butt crawling and boy do you have places to go. You’ve mastered the clapping and you are a real chatter box. You’ve tasted ice cream for the first time, and you loved it.  Sleep wise, you don’t get understand the concept that you should be sleeping through the night. Hopefully you’ll get the memo shortly.

From month 10 to 11 was a big one. Your two top teeth came in and you love grinding them. It gives me shivers every time. You decided one day, just like that, you can go up stairs. We were in awe. How could you just “know” when it was something you’d never even attempted before. I was glad I caught it on camera. You love standing and walking (but as long as you are holding on to something). Your favorite pastime is to steal your brother’s toys and pull his hair.  You say “regarde” (which means Look!) while pointing to everything, and you say “cat.” You started daycare and at first you didn’t love it, but now you are a fan. You love other kids and clearly you are a people person.

I can’t believe that at the next update you’ll be 1. But I’m extremely excited for what lies ahead.
