Olive's rapid growth starts to slow down, and she rolls from her side to her back. Plus the umbilical hernia is gone! Her sleep improves a bit.
Olive gains another pound, develops stranger anxiety, and lags a bit on the developmental milestones.
Olive is in the 25th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. Still waking up ~4x a night. She started solids! No more stranger anxiety, and she's quick with a huge grin if you look at her.
Her two lower front teeth popped through! She can hold a toy in her hand and bring it to her mouth. Sleep not so good. Belly crawling now.
Baby-led weaning is going great! Olive now has three teeth. Olive may be an extrovert.
Olive is sleeping well, eating like a little monster, sitting up, crawling, and generally just a super happy baby!
Olive has been on a consistent two-nap schedule for the past month and a half since we nap trained. She came down with roseola, and nursing is still going well. 7 teeth in her mouth now.
Olive's happy, eats well, and sleeps well but she’s still not that mobile yet. She flew to the Philippines and did great!
Olive gets her scheduled vaccines, got 3 colds over a month-and-a-half, and an ear infection. She still loves to nurse, but likes solids too. She says a few words, but only when she wants to. Real crawling now, after 5 months of belly crawling. Her personality is strong and emerging!
Olive's finally better from her sicknesses, and enjoying her crawling and babbling. Night-training is officially complete!
Olive transitions to one nap.
Olive starts walking, talking, and sleeping through the night!
"The last time I wrote an update for Olive was over a year ago when she was 20 months old, so I thought an update was due before she turns 3 in October!"
