I chase around two little kids at least 12 hours on most days, and having two free hands for all of those hours is crazy important. I carry a diaper bag (though my kids are both officially out of diapers now!), a small shoulder bag most days or a wristlet for quick errand runs – but on any other day I am a huge fan of the backpack. I can pack all the extra clothes, toys, water bottles, snacks, my small shoulder bag and still have room for a few errand items while out and about – all while I comfortably carry one kiddo on my hip and hold my other little one’s hand. Here are 9 great staple and stylish backpacks for mom, sure to keep her looking trendy and hands-free!

# 4, 6, & 8 are my faves. I love # 1 as well, but I think it might seem a bit to young girlish for me to carry.

Target has some really cute backpacks that are $30 or less, in styles that are quite similar to some of these.

What an awesome idea! And some of these are very dad friendly. I think I might get #4.

This is a great idea. I can’t wait until I’m done with huge diaper bag and can stop lugging it around.

I haven’t carried a backpack in over 15 years, I really don’t think I can go back to one. Cute though.

One of our diaper bags is the Skip Hop Via backpack. We use it pretty often!

I’ve actually taken to using sling backpacks because they allow much easier access to the contents (don’t have to take off backpack to get to stuff). I’ve been eyeing this one on Amazon and I think I’m gonna take the plunge and buy it.
