Leggings might be the best all around bottoms to put on a little bottom. Comfortable like a sweat pant, cute like a skinny jean and funky enough to be the star of the entire comfy outfit. I even know a few little boys who love to wear a pair of tough boyish leggings. On little chubby legs they are just the cutest.
Last year I searched high and low looking for fun, not too cutesy patterns. It was tough. This almost fall (I’m not wishing the last tiny bit of summer away), I barely had to blink to find trendy fantastic patterns.
Here are some lovely little leggings to add to their little closet – great for back to school or for when they are running from mom and dad at the park.
No. 1 – Like a super comfy pair of floral jeans. 77kids $14.83
No. 2 – Cute little stars that look a little hand drawn by a toddler. Old Navy $8.00
No. 3 – Stripes; extra cute on little chubby legs. Osh Kosh $6.00
No. 4 – Hand printed and in the coolest pattern, these would be cute on both boys and girls. Thief and Bandit Kids $34.00
No. 5 – She can make a major statement on the playground. Also great for imagination play or dress up! The Gap $12.95
No. 6 – Navajo- ish pattern; though there is nothing ish about how awesome and cute these are. 77kids $14.83
No. 7 – Cute butterflys that are in a bit of a polka dot flight pattern. Osh Kosh $6.00
No. 8 – Another great boy-ish style, a cute almost basic pattern. Thief and Bandit $36.00
No. 9 – Polka Dot with a major fun twist. 77kids $14.83
Do your dress your little one in tights? Which is your favorite pattern?

I LOVE LEGGINGS on baby girls. I just purchased two pairs for Sienna. A vintage floral and a leopard print (with hearts) cost me a mere 6$ for both. I think I’ll be a legging addict.

DD LOVES leggings. She has so many pairs of jeans but only wants to wear leggings because they are so soft, I guess. We have them in all different styles.

I need to get L some floral leggings. We got an adorable purple cord skirt in our last Wittlebee box and those would be perfect.
And I love those leopard ones.
I love dressing kids. So much of what I can’t wear, she can. And I get to mix prints and colors in so many fun ways.
